Article #75: The Motor Car's Part 1

This new article is all about the Motor Car's (Speeder's) on the layout. The first photo which is above show's one of the Motor Car's running past the roundhouse towards the Grovemont Yard with an engineer at the controls. This speeder has a front headlight as well 2 levers, and a rear brake light.

This next motor car also has a front headlight and rear brake light, as well as a horn, lever and front coupler.

The next motor car we're looking at looks the same as the first one. It is a light brown color with the DVCRR lettering on the side near the wheels and a lever. There is an engineer sitting on the car in the photo above.

Article #90: Penn Central Bay Window Caboose #4930 sits in Yard

In this new article we will be looking at Penn Central Bay Window caboose #4930. In bay window cabooses, crew that were monitoring trains sat in the middle of the caboose in a section of wall that projected from the side of the caboose. This type of caboose resulted in a better view of the side of trains. The photo above shows the caboose sitting in track 1 of the grovemont yard. Here is another view of the caboose.

Artcile #89: 2 Loaded Trailer Train Car Carriers in Yard

In this new article we will be looking at two trailer train car carriers that were added to the fleet of freight cars not long ago. The first photo above shows one of them with a vehicle on the top of it. This kind of car carrier has two different levels for vehicles. Here is the second car carrier sitting in the grovemont yard where we see some cars on both levels. Here is another photo of the same car carrier where we see a VW car on the top level and a red car in the lower level/

Article #85: HO Scale Yellow Fairmont MT-14 Motor Car w/ Southern Railway Caboose X2715 Outside

In this new article on the blog, we see some HO Scale models outside. Here we see a yellow Fairmont MT-14 motor car with some Christmas lights on the top with a railroad cart and behind it is Southern Railway wooden caboose X2715. This motor car, along with many others run on the layout regularly. The same can be said for this caboose, this caboose operates frequently as well. Here is a different view of the motor car and caboose.
