Article #61: The DVCRR's First SD60

                                                                 The DVCRR's First SD60

The first ever EMD SD60 on the Danville County Railroad Layout is right here, and it is painted in the CIT Blue Paint Scheme with zebra stripes on the front and back of the locomotive. The picture above shows the engines at Grovemont siting at the grade crossing. The number of this engine is 6005 and will be used on all kinds of trains across the layout. The DVCRR layout has mainly had older locomotive types like a GP7 or a E/F Unit of some sort, but this is a little bit more modern locomotive which is good for the layout. This is the first time that the layout has seen a locomotive like this and could be seeing more in the near future.
