How to do Night photography on a Layout

 

This article is all about how to do night photography on a HO Scale Train Layout. And the photo that will be featured here is of a motor car speeder which is the newest piece on the layout. The way this was done was a bright light being shined on the spot on the layout without much light in the room. There are probably a lot of ways to do things like this but this is one way that it can be done. The photo above shows the motor car under a something like a streetlight.


This photo shows the operator of the motor car with his hand on the throttle/lever with the light shining on the car.

  In this new article we get a look at one of the DVCRR motor cars sitting in Track 2 of the Grovemont Yard. This was the first motor car added to the layout back in 2022. This motor car has a headlight, cow catcher and a horn. Every so often, the motor cars can be seen in the tracks of the yard.
