Article #48: Santa Fe Blue Goose 3460

 

This article is all about the HO Scale Santa fe Blue Goose 3460 on the DVCRR Layout. 3460 is a 4-6-4 Hudson Type and it is a really cool locomotive. It's light blue paint scheme and streamlining make it right up there as the most exciting locomotive on the entire layout. Let's go into detail a little bit on this engine.

Here is the tender which is lettered SANTA FE and has 2 different shades of blue as well as silver in the middle of that. This is a very important part of the locomotive.

Here is a close up look at one of the driving wheels as well as the driving rods.
