Model Railroad Article #12: The Grovemont Tower

 

The Tower shown here is the Grovemont Tower in the DVCRR Layout, now a lot of things take place inside this tower, like the dispatching for the Grovemont District, tower operating and control of the Grovemont Yard. When trains approach this tower they need permission past the tower when coming out of the yard. The first photo is a good side view of the tower.
This 2nd photo here shows the front of the tower with the DVCRR Lettering on it as well as the small windows.

Article #92: DVCRR Motor Car in Track 2 of Grovemont Yard

  In this new article we get a look at one of the DVCRR motor cars sitting in Track 2 of the Grovemont Yard. This was the first motor car added to the layout back in 2022. This motor car has a headlight, cow catcher and a horn. Every so often, the motor cars can be seen in the tracks of the yard.
