Article #31: Seaboard Coast Line C-Liner

 

Here in Article 31 we take a look at a Seaboard Coast Line Shark Nose C-Liner on the DVCRR Layout. The photo above shows the locomotive sitting beside the roundhouse as well as a signal that is yellow with the search light which is red. This engine is very useful for the DVCRR running on any type of train, from coal to manifest freight this engine can do anything as far as trains go. It is in the classic black & yellow paint scheme.

Article #90: Penn Central Bay Window Caboose #4930 sits in Yard

  In this new article we will be looking at Penn Central Bay Window caboose #4930.  In bay window cabooses, crew that were monitoring trains sat in the middle of the caboose in a section of wall that projected from the side of the caboose. This type of caboose resulted in a better view of the side of trains. The photo above shows the caboose sitting in track 1 of the grovemont yard. Here is another view of the caboose.

Article #94: Seaboard System Tractor Trailer w/ Truck Cab

  In this new article we get a look at the Seaboard System tractor trailer with a red truck cab sitting in between the second and third tracks of the Grovemont Yard. There are a lot of different tractor trailers that are used on the layout, but the two Seaboard System trailers are some of the more common trailers on the layout. Article #95: Santa Fe Railroad Crane Outside

  In this new article we are taking a look at the Santa Fe railroad crane outside. This crane was added to the layout a few years back. This crane has been used in various ways since it has been on the layout. The photo shows a side view of the crane.
