The Danville County Railroad Train Layout

  This 3rd locomotive review is all about Chessie System GP18 4301. This locomotive is one of the more common locomotives that is on the train layout and the photo above shows 4310 siting beside the roundhouse. This engine is mainly on local trains out of the Grovemont Yard. This locomotive is in the Chessie System paint scheme but is lettered Chesapeake & Ohio right above the number.

 This 2nd Locomotive Review is all about Southern Railway GP50 7077. This engine has been on the layout for a few years now and is one of the most common engines that you will see. The photo above shows 7077 going by the railroad crossing near the roundhouse and yard. It is one of 2 GP50's on the layout with the other being the next number 7078. The 2 GP50's are the only Southern Railway locomotives on the layout currently. 7077 sitting near the yard tower and passenger station as it backs in to the Grovemont Yard.

  The first Locomotive Review is all about Erie Lackawanna GP35 2570. This locomotive was recently added the layout and usually can be seen running local trains out of the Grovemont Yard. The photo above shows the locomotive sitting near the tower which is near the yard. This is the first locomotive in this pant scheme on the layout and one of 2 GP35's on the layout.
